Below is an audio report on the demonstration held on Thursday 25th February in Leeds by staff and students against education cuts.
The demonstration began at noon at the Parkinson steps followed by a march to the Ziff Building, where the Vice Chancellor, Michael Arthur, has an office. (Although I heard he actually lives in the south and travels by aeroplane to Leeds)
A seemingly impromtu demonstration was also held by members of the English departtment inside the Parkinson building later on.
